Ok age old debate but altho floyd split in '84 who do you consider to be the real person behind the band? Roger waters... the voice and writer behind the wall, final cut and many other songs throughtout floyd history or Gilmour the voice and writer on many more of the floyd song? Personally im in rogers camp but would like to know your opinion.

My son is a sophomore in college already, is wanting to change his major, but not real sure where to turn. It's a long story, but he wanted nursing originally, couldn't get in with that major, declaired surgical tech instead, was on deans list for whole year, decided to declair nursing second year of college and was accepted, however 70% of his class is failing (within nursing terms C or lower) and is so discouraged he wants to get out of it. He's a great student and always applies himself, studies well and as I mentioned earlier he was on the dean's list last year. Is there something he can fill out that might give him a better idea of what he's suitable for or would enjoy doing? In case you're wondering he's spoken with his nursing advisor.....got nowhere. It's a shame because he'd have made a great nurse, and loved his clinicals at the hospital. Got any ideas?

If everything else about us has pretty much been decimalized (as 100 is supposed to be easier to work with) e.g. Money (as in pound/shillings/pence... gone), Weights (pounds/stones... going) & Measurement (inches/feet/miles... going) and indeed numbers themselves! (roman numerals... long gone) etc... How come time itself has not yet been decimalized and why is it in the format that it is?

Me and my ex gf have been together for 10 months. We loved each other alot, and always spent time together, Than within the last 2 months, she started talking to other guys more, put her friends before me, Fought AGAINST me when i had an arguement with one of her friends...

I tried to treat her nicely. She still did the same thing, so I started to accuse her of cheating on me, which seemed like what was going on. Than this caused fights, than she started fighting me over stupid reasons, which lead to the breakup..

I love her and I think we brokeup over dumb reasons, but i begged her back for 3 weeks and she rejected me. Now I moved on, but still want her back. She says shes hanging out with her ex alot, and saying stuff like she kissed him or w/e. And this guy cheated on her twice, and kissed with her sister while they were going out. And I can't beleive she'd do this

Myself, partner a 2 yr old daughter have planned to move to England (from Ireland) in the new yr for a couple of yrs. To save some money, get away from our small town, live life and experience something new and then return to buy a house. I was born in England and have a sister and family there and was really looking forward to going. I find it impossible to get a job here in my field of work. My partners father has just offered to sell us a house (he is building and selling 100's on his farm land as well as a new primary schooll) which we had been waiting for but had given up hope. I know this is a great opportunity to buy from him as we need not worry about going through bank for mortgage and can do it through him. I know it is great to be able to have a new house of our own but I cant help feeling disappointed. I need a break from this town. If we go to England we may lose his offer.
