Are there food local to Chicago that warrants a mention:
Staple (daily) breakfast, lunch and dinner,
Popular dishes, finger foods, convenience foods,
Haute cuisine dishes,
Ethnic foods considered part of Chicago, or cosmopolitan is the local variety,

If there is no one local dish, any recommendations on food imports:
Beef houses, common and uncommon of beef specialities,
Pizzas,
Other recommendations ?
