It is often believed that iPods are unreliable, I have several friends who have had theirs break, but my sister has had one for over a year and it has been fine. The sound quality is good but the best sound quality comes from the creative zen range I would recomend checking them out - the Zen Neon also comes in a bright pink.

I have a 4GB Nano and it is brilliant. However, it is so small that I have lost it a few times around the house. This happens with my mobile sometimes but at least you can ring it up to find where it is. Perhaps this is an idea for future models? Another complaint is the poor bass response. But I would not be without my Nano.

I have an old iPod Mini. It is so reliable. I have had it for about 2-3 years and even though its a bit scratched, it's never stopped working. I really want a new iPod Nano though. I like the red one. If you cant find one in the shops, then buy one online at www.apple.com/uk.

Bought one for my girlfriend and she loves it!
The bad news is that I had to go to 4 different shops before I managed to get a pink one in stock.
Also apple will probably reduce the price from £130 to £100 after christmas!

I own several iPods including the nano. In terms of the coolness factor, your daughter would surely be in the "in" crowd. The quality of the product plus the iTunes store is an unbeatable combination. I truly don't think you could go wrong with it.

It is a great song player everybody loves them I was goint to get a red one. The only thing is that you have to keep it protected because it can get scratched. I think it would be the best choice to get the Pod nano - 4GB - Pink over everything else

They all work really good just remember to follow the first few steps when you first get it so nothing happens to it. They are very reliable and my ipod has never froze or done such a thing. When you first get it, rechrage it first and dont fiddle with it . And if they have cases try and get one so it doesn't get scratched. The pink one is nice and pretty. Your daugther have fun with it!

buy the red one... then buy a pink protective cover for it.. (£1) then make sure you fully charge/discharge it a few times to get the battery working nicely... then it will be great......
