If there is still time, a personalized gift, such as a silver vase or heart shaped box engraved with the names and wedding date. It makes the gift more personal and shows that you put a little thought and effort into it. Anybody can pick up a bottle of wine at the last minute.

Some type of recognition of the anniversary would be very nice. Perhaps a plant or floral arrangement sent to the tenant site congratulating them. If you know the business owners well, hand delivering a bottle of wine to the store would be a nice gesture as well.

No matter what, do not get a vase or anything else with the number of years they have been married embossed on it! That's tacky. For older people, a g/c for a very nice restaurant or a play would be great.
