I got 4 overdraft charges @ $35 each. Thats $140 down the drain. Yes I made a mistake, but after my account went negative I deposited the money the next day. Now my account is back to a normal balance. But what does US bank do they charge me $140 anyways. These banks make milions and billions in profit a year. Do they care about us (the little man)? nope they want every last penny out of the poor man they can get, because it makes them richer. I argued and argued. they wouldn't refund not one penny. Now what do I have to do. I have to borrow more money from them. I had to take what they call a checking account advance. So now instead of just $140 they are making 120% APR on the money I borrowed. These people are scam artist. please leave any input....... Stay away from US BANK....

my wife is working and i need to cook dinner what can do with a pork shoulder that is quick and easy? im thinking about cutting it up into cubes and browning it with onions,garlic and some other seasonings. does this sound good?

I don’t understand why everyone gives teenagers who are pregnant so much sympathy just because of the situation they put themselves in! What is up with that? I do not believe in stereotyping anyone--especially teenage mothers but why give them sympathy? I don’t care about anyone’s age, it seems to me people on here who are young mothers or are young and pregnant always put “I’m 16 and…” Why should we care how old they are to answer their questions? You don’t see some one write “Hi, I’m 32 and…” Are pregnant teens trying to get sympathy or attention because of their age? I think a lot of teenagers put a really bad reputation out there for themselves and others in the same situation---therefore creating and adding to stereotypes . What are your feelings on this?

I also should add--I was pregnant with my first at seventeen--I'm nineteen now--just for judgment's sake.

Since I hit my 40's I find myself thinking more and more about that " Day" and I find myself scared to death. Knowing my mother past away at a early age in life of cancer I have this fear now. I wish I didn't think about it so much. I know we all have to go sooner or later but really I rather not think about it at all. Any suggestions how to fix this fear?
