If I were to run for a public office such as Gov. or United States President, would you, the general public vote for me? If say I ran upon these beliefs: 1) the Judicial only states the legality of law based upon the US constitution, 2) no matter who all US citizens fall under the laws of the United States, 3) implimintation of a uniform tax code, 4) abollishing the 'Death Tax', 4) encouraging citizens to save their earnings themselves, 5) limited Gov. involvement outside of foriegn relations, 6) prohibiting illegal aliens from possessing drivers liscences, 7) discontinuing affirmitive action.

I meditate three times daily for 15 minutes each session. I concentrate on an object ( a leaf lately) until I reach a state of where I feel that time no longer exists.

I am interested to know how you meditate, and how you feel when doing so. Thanks!!!!!!!!

my g\f hasn't been keeping up with the cleaning at my pad. i know she works 40-50 hrs a week and i don't BUT, i've given her a verbal warning once already........ should i give her a written warning next or just be done with her. by the way she gets all the "fringe benefits" a girl could want....

It has already been proven that more americans voted on American Idol than in the presidential elections...take in account all of the underage teenieboppers.....Why is voting for political candidates not as important as voting for Kelly Clarkson? I was watching TV, and it was one of those embarrassing celebrity moments shows on VH1 or E! And, big surprise, Hugh Grant shows up on the countdown. For those who don't know, Hugh Grant was arrested with a prostitute named Divine Brown years ago. The twist is that Hugh was dating model/actress Elizabeth Hurley at the time. Every time somebody mentions this on TV, they all say the same thing: "Hugh, what were you thinking? You could have had Elizabeth Hurley." But nobody ever points out the real reason Hugh cheated. If you remember the story, Hugh Grant asked the prostitute for a b. j. Now I'm just guessing, but Elizabeth Hurley does not look like someone who just hands out blowjobs. This was just another case of someone who's not getting what they want at home so they look elsewhere to get it. I'm not really justifiying this behavior, but I understand where he's coming from. I can't believe no one else has said this. Anybody else agree with my theory?

OK I don't know about you, but round about where I live "Xmas" usually starts on the 6th November nowadays. Right after Guy Fawkes Night, thats when the "Xmas" hype starts.
But would it be possible this year- for the sake of everyone's sanity- to ABSOLUTELY BAN the incessant playing of the Slade single "Merry Xmas Everyone"..? I hate it with a vengeance and I think most people do, nowadays. In fact this banal, idiotic tune is one of the things I dread most every year.
If the strength of public feeling was expressed strongly enough do you think all the shops would GET THE MESSAGE and stop playing this seedy, tacky and irritating tune?

I saw the trailer of The Little Mermaid 3, but it seems that all the scenes were taken from the 1st Little Mermaid movie. Some guess that it'll be a prequel... Does anyone have any idea on this issue? I'll be quite excited about it if Melody won't be in the movie! hahaha!!! ^_^

Well given my situation I hope someone will have the answer. My family is moving two hours away from everything we know. The problem is, I need to go back to work to afford our new house.
