I dont understand why everyone else can go around wearing a cross or a buddah or whatever at my school, but if i wear a pentagram, it goes aginst the dress code for "gang" .......uhhh. Is it only me, or is that just plain unfair?! Its my religeon, and if everyone gets to show theirs, I want to show mine. Am I overreacting, or do others think thats stupid as well. (im in junior high btw)

Do total strangers ask skinny people what they're having for lunch? I feel like the dinner police are out to make sure I don't enjoy my dinner. Doesn't anyone realize how rude this is? Would they go up to a skinny person and say "Mmmmmmmm, that smells good. What are we having for dinner tonight?"

My wife and I planned to start trying for our first baby in January. She has been asking me to start sooner since she has been wanting one for 2 years now.

So, we talked yesterday and I told her I would like to start trying now too and I thought she should not take birth control after her current pack and if she gets pregnant earlier than January then it will be great. She got nervous about starting now and said she wanted to wait until January for the following reasons:

1.The interior of our house is being painted next month and she wants it done before conceiving.

2. If she gets pregnant earlier than January then the baby will be born before her 24th birthday and she wants to be 24 when her 1st baby is born. (Maybe it sounds better than being a mom at 23??)

3. And her most important reason: she wants to lose at least 15 lbs before getting pregnant (She is 5'8" 160 lbs right now)

What do you think of her reaction?

By the time the question or answer gets deleted its hours old . After enough questions get asked its page two for that old question nobody sees anymore. The basher gets his account deleted after 30 - 35 reports and he gets a new one in two minutes.
Its a free world (thank GOD) so do what you want to do ( your going to anyway ) I was just curious.

The best one I've found so far is The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell. C.S. Lewis's Out of the Silent Planet had a similar plot as well. I'm most interested in conceptions of sentient alien species from an anthropological perspective. Thanks!
