I know of course you need to work out but someone told me if you drink 24oz of milk each day you will start to lose weight around the tummy area, I have also heard it makes you gain weight. Does anyone know if it works or not?

I have a set of tarot cards but I'm having troubles with them. When I read them I don't agree with the generally accepted meanings of the cards. For some reason I see the cards as meaning something else to me, sometimes somethign completely different then what it's supposed to be. Does this mean if I interpret them with my meanings my reading will be off? Can the meanings of a card be different from person to person?

Hi, I'm a senior in high school, getting ready to apply to college, and since my school counselor is new to my school, he doesn't know his students. He's asked the seniors to fill out a mini "questionarre," letting him know a little about ourselves so he can write letters of recommendation.

He asks for three words to describe ourselves, so I wrote dedicated, hardworking, and kind.

I don't want to keep using the same words throughout the questionarre, so what are some words similar? I can't think tonight! I'd look in the thesaurus, but I'm not looking for EXACT words, just some words sort of similar - words that will tell him and colleges I try hard, I am a good student, I am serious about my education, etc.

OKay i havent seen any questions from others who have what i have so here is goes..or at least i didnt see anything

About a month ago i broke up with this guy. We used to be best friends but then we dated,he fell in love with me and i didn't love him back, and he went on about how much he would wait for me and was in love with me just a month ago after it.Now, because we all hang about in the same group, we are all best friends. Tonight, my ex brought a new girl along. None of them like her because she cuts herself, is very 'emo' and is 'ugly'(that shouldnt matter i know). I just purchased a fireplace screen to go in front of the fireplace... We have a screen that slides in front of the fire but embers will pop out or the logs will shift and a couple times they have rolled out. I got the screen so the cat wont lay in front of the fireplace and risk get hurt by flying embers or hot logs rolling out on to him. But we have noticed that even though the screen is metal/mesh... it seems to block a lot of the heat. I was wondering if it is acting as a heat sink, the heat hits the metal screen that is sitting on ceramic tile. If you move the screen it gets really warm in the living room really fast. Anybody else experience this?
