Do aoholic get drunk easily? cause i have this idea thst they become immune to it

its not immune, its tolerance. an alcoholic needs more alcohol to get drunk because his/her tolerance to the alcohol goes up the more they drink. the liver is the organ that processes the alcohol and as the intake if alcohol increases the liver dedicates more cells to process until most of the liver is dedicated to processing alcohol only. that's when physical addiction has set in.

It takes them longer to become drunk because their tolerance level is very high due to years and years of drinking to excess.

Even when they have been in detox. for a few months they can reach that tolerance level quite quickly.

I don't think anyone has lived to tell the story of becoming immune to alcohol.

Hi. Most alcoholics I have met seem to have an exaggerated sense of euphoria when drinking. They do not, in my opinion, get used to it.
