ok, I finally figured out what I wanna do with my life... woohoo!!
But I dont exactly know what its called, lol.
I would like to create and implement programs to help the less fortunate, I would like to fight for issues in pooer countries and create programs that would help, I would like to also be that person that speaks about African American issues, our history, and our culture in different venues. would that be something in the government? if so, whats the name? (p.s. I put the ques. in this section cause I couldnt find a category, people are always in this section)

Okay, I had a friend with benefits. He is going through a divorce, and we started out as nothing serious. Then he said that he sensed that I wanted more so he broke things off. I DO want more, but not until he is ready. And I made that perfectly clear from the beginning.

So, now we are friends again. But, closer friends than we were to begin with. I know he still loves his ex (she left him) and he admitted to me that he pushed me away for his own good and that he is scared.

It takes a lot for a guy to admit that to a girl, I know that.

I have told him that I want to date other guys, and he said "that is fine as long as he knows that we are friends, and I will be coming around."

I asked him only once if he feels anything, he says "no, we are just friends."

He did bring his little girl over to my house recently to meet me though.

Now, I have another guy that I am casually seeing, and he doesn't seem jealous. Then again, I'm a girl. Sometimes I wish he would just give me a sign or flirt with me. But he says that he thinks that would be leading me on.

I know he's not ready for a relationship. And I am still friends with him regardless of what happens.

So, I need opinions, do you think if I continue to be patient and understanding toward him that he might give me a chance?

or do you think he is keeping me in radar but doing everything (like his daughter) on his own terms?

or do you think anything other than friendship with him (even in the future) would be a lost cause?

I foolishly got drawn into the whole world of internet chat rooms and began sharing my fantasies with people online. I then (stupidly)arranged to meet someone & had sexual contact with them.This was about 2 yrs ago. I had already been with my gf for about 2 yrs at this time. By this time we were sharing a house together (which is where the stupid deed took place)
I took advice & decided not to tell her cos she would never find out & telling her would only hurt her. Except 9 mths ago she did find out. I foolishly denied it, until finally admitting it 3 mths ago. She then checked & found that I had still been using chat rooms & kicked me out of the house that we had bought together.
It was a stupid & hurtful thing to do, & I realise the bond of trust we had has been shattered & may never be rebuilt, though I did and still do love her & would like to try to rebuild our relationship.
My question is what can I do to help ease her pain & sufferring that she is undoubtedly going through?

Where I work we have people on long term sick leave accross the firm. Loads of women on maternity leave as well. Its costing the earth to maintain these people. What is the law? Sometimes i feel there should be a law which women should sign to say that they will not get pregnent within say 2 years of taking the job!

It seems like housing will be a lot more expensive if they use union laborers to build them. How come some states use only union labor and others use most likely undocumented workers? There is a big difference in pay scale and therefore a big difference in the cost to build. Do you have any state laws that require workers to be trained, licensed or union? This is a hard question to find a category for. Home and garden seemed the closest.

I have been married 3 years, been with my husband for 6. He has completely changed on me in the last year. I can't talk to him I try and I constantly get my head bit off Just for stuff like asking for help around the house. I broke my foot 2 weeks ago, I had to beg him to take me for medical care. Then he left me on my own to get myself to my appointments of course it was my right foot the one I have to drive with. He has 2 children 11 and 9 and they are no help and we have a 2 year old together of course I do everything for her, she is the only reason I haven't just left. I want out, but I'm afraid it's going to get really ugly and I don't want to loose my little girl.

I tend to get myself overly freaked about little things, I wake up at night wondering if I did stuff at work, and if I can't figure out if I have or not, you can forget me calming down, even if its a little thing that is no trouble to fix! I've always done this, I'm talking since I was a kid, My dad is the same way. I started taking relacore (reduce stress caused cortisol that increases fat) to help with weight loss and it didnt really help with weight, but I could tell I was less freaked about stuff! I would prefer not to take a weight loss pill forever tho....do you have any suggestions about vitamins or other pills that I could take to calm me down? Thanks!
