I tend to get myself overly freaked about little things, I wake up at night wondering if I did stuff at work, and if I can't figure out if I have or not, you can forget me calming down, even if its a little thing that is no trouble to fix! I've always done this, I'm talking since I was a kid, My dad is the same way. I started taking relacore (reduce stress caused cortisol that increases fat) to help with weight loss and it didnt really help with weight, but I could tell I was less freaked about stuff! I would prefer not to take a weight loss pill forever tho....do you have any suggestions about vitamins or other pills that I could take to calm me down? Thanks!

B complex vitamins are good for stress. On the herbal side, there's also St. Johns Wort. Of course, it would be best to talk with your doctor about getting off of the other stuff and switching to these.

The only cure for stress is to remain present in the "Now."
Future or past mental projections cause a build up of time in the mind. Focus on the current moment. Be here, now. Necessary planning is the only reason for temporarily projecting into the future. Being fully present while planning will bring solutions with ease. Remain conscious of your thoughts, don't allow them to run rampid. This will cause you to be more present, more or the time. Never get lost in what ifs, or the unlimited possibilities which lie ahead. This turns into mental noise, stress, anxiety, and dis-ease. The current moment is a gift, this is why it's called the "present." Nothing happens in the future, nothing happens in the past, everything happens right now. Don't miss out on the gifts of life being too busy to recognize the present moment where your life truly unfolds. The only thing you can do is right here...right now.

Also I would suggest reading: "The Power of Now" by Eckhart Tolle. No prescription needed for this book, and
results are guaranteed =) Enjoy.

Love & Light,
Ryan

I have a friend who used a natural herbal remedy for years to treat stress. It kept him calm, even helped him sleep. His major problem was the expense and locating a source.

Cannibus Indica or Cannibus Sativa....but it doesn't do anything for weight loss.

Hope it's legal where you are.

I am the same way. I got these pills at my local health food store. They're called stress assist by future biotics. They might take awhile to work in your system and you might not even realize that they are working but they are.

Absolutely! Got to a health food store and check out Boiron products and homeopathic remedies just for stress! Also lobelia extract which is an herb you can take for stress......but no herbs if you are pregnant!

Try St. John's Wort - it is supposedly excellent for this - just be sure to research the quality of the brand you choose to take - apparently the quality and actual amount of the herb can vary quite a bit.
