(It is a little early for the red squirrell to hibernate unless you have a very cold spell on its way. The grey ones, come and go where the food is or where they make their dreys to have young ones in the next month or so..........sorry about the pun earlier).......

Squirrels hibernate in the winter. They will be back in the springtime.
