you would have to go to a makeup or a department store, not just a drug store. department or specialty makeup stores have sanitary ways for you to try on make up. you would have to test it on your face. they can do free application of the makeup so that you can see what it looks like when it is on. you are not supposed to test makeup on your hand anyway. your hand is never the exact same as your face.

when shopping for make up hold the bottle beside your face and look in the mirror. You should be able to get close

yup yup test the make up on your face, apply with the cotton buds supplied. remember to clean the sample first! For eye makeup, don't apply on or around your eyes!
