Need Your Advice?

There is a friend of mine at work who I have tried to help but I need someone else's opinion. She lives in Nevada with her fiancee' and she is not to happy being there because he racked up her credit card and although she did authorize some purchases he took advantage of the situation and she is severely in debt. Her old friend, this guy Brian, from California told her to move in with her and they both have feelings for each other and he is willing to wire her money so she can come and live with him. She is torn because although she still does have feelings for her fiancee' she has fallen for her friend Brian in California. She is not sure if she should stay with her fiancee' and work things out and hope he changes or move back to California and be with someone who is responsible and will treat me completely different. Please give me some advise so I can help her. Thanks!!

Budgie Seizure?

I took my 2 year old female budgie oout of her cage today, and her eyes went white around the edges and she went completely stiff, she's fine now and her usual self, but could she have had a seizure? This has never happend before, I haven't changed her diet or toys, so I don't know what happend.

At least 44 U.S. troops have been killed so far in October. At the current pace, the month would be the deadliest for U.S. forces since January 2005. After falling to 43 in July, the U.S. toll rose in August and September before spiking this month. The war's average monthly U.S. death toll is 67..

Paddy & Mick are walking together and Paddy says "Mick have you s**t yer sel?"
"No, a have not" replies Mick
The two tinkers keep marching down the dirt track looking for an abode when that certain whiff once again catches the nose of Paddy...
"Mick are you SURE you havn't s**t yer sel?"
"A hav'nt s**t ma sel" retorts Mick
They reach a barn and the two decide to bed down
Mick takes his trousers down and the tell-tale signs are there for Paddy to see.
"Mick, a thought you said you had'nt s**t yer sel" says Paddy as he points to the offending pile inside his pal's kegs.
"Oh, a thought you meant today Paddy!"

When I get around my 18 yr old daughter, I get so depressed. Suggestions?

She moved in with a guy who is 25 yrs old and has a child about a week after she graduated high school earlier this summer. He clearly is an alchoholic. My daughter just got out of jail for punching him in the face because she said he was hitting on another girl. My family does not act this way. We work hard and to be honest, she is putting me to shame.
My daughter has no job, no plans to get one, no car, no money, nothing. She lives in a dump trailer and is barely surviving.
I told her today, I want her to get her life together and go to college or at least get a job, get some clothes and clean up. She looks like trailer trash all of the sudden. Her hair is a mess, her clothes look dirty and she is falling apart. She told me " i am just like my dad and I have a bad temper and I dont take anything from anyone" and told me to get the $@(% out of her driveway. I left. It makes me sick to see my beautiful daughter do this. She has so much potential. Should I just forget she exist?

What sort of system do the firemen use to change the traffic lights to all red?

I noticed today at an intersection that was next to a fire station that all the traffic lights were on red and the 3 firetrucks had their lights flashing and after they all left the station and were on their way, the traffic lights went back to their normal function. I was just wondering what sort of system they use and where is it and does it ever happen that they forget to let the lights go back to normal?

Does anyone elses' cat do this?

My cat will jump onto the kitchen sink and meow until either my husband or I come and turn on the faucet for him and he will drink from the faucet for 5min or more. And his water container is less then 2 feet away from the sink? Is that crazy or just spoiled?
