I would not expect the refreshments to be movie theater caliber, but a little something to quench the appetite would be nice.

you mean something to hold you over while you sit there for 2 hours listening to the same thing you hear every church service? "god hates sin, you are sinners, your all going to hell. but not me cause im teaching you about god" same message every time i used to go.

Probably, but that's all the nourishment you'd get - physical instead of spiritual.
