Should they plead temporary insanity and get off and should they be convicted of murder in the first degree?

depends if they were really sincerely crazy at the time (then insanity) if not they should be convicted to the greatest extent.
an insanity plea does not necessary set the killer free.

depends on the circumstances . There was a girl in illinois who accidentally killed her child she fell asleep after being out all night drinking and the baby fell in a bucket of vomit and drowned , I believe losing her child was punishment enough , she was 18 by the way and obviousley didn't have a very good life to begin with because she was in a homeless shelter at the time , but the woman that drove her kids into the river and watched them drowned over a man she needs to be tortured then killed .

To murder your children in cold blood...insane or no, they murdered the most innocent of all. They should be treated with disgust.

They should not get off,and yes they should be charged with murder. If this problem with women killing children gets swept under the rug, we're all in trouble. No leniency here.

I believe in the old ways, an eye for an eye. Murdering children has no excuse, I say sentence them to death. Save us some tax money.

toddler molesters are toddler molesters, no rely if or not they are priests or every physique else. there's no biblical justification for molesting a toddler. i don't submit to in concepts David, Soloman or Noah abusing babies or raping every physique, and Lot became in basic terms threatened rape by using the undesirable adult men, which does not justify didly squat. definitely, the bible does enable divorce in the example of an adulterous important different, so i assume you in basic terms conveniently forgot to repeat and paste that area.

The punishment depends on what their real condition instead of what they plead.
If they are mentally insane, they should be prisoned in mental institue.
If they are sane, murder.
If they are temporarily insane, they should be prisoned.

i think they are crazy. its postpardom depression. they need help, of the psyciatric type. so lock them up in the insane asylum, then theyre not getting off. even though it is murder.

They should be treated the same as any criminal. Jail I guess...unless they truly are insane.
