Get them extracted. In the meantime -- use product like Ambelsol for tooth/gum pain.

I don't mean to sound like a wise guy, but go ask your dentist about getting it out. If you have room for the tooth and it doesn't need to be taken out, you can go to the drug store and get any brand of benzocaine 20% and use it as directed on the label. (OraJel, etc.)

try a product like ambesol (not sure of the spelling) it's sold at drug stores, no perscription needed. It's just a topical anesthetic, numbs the pain a bit, tastes awful, but it does help with toothaches and wisdom teeth

Most people have the teeth extracted when reaching about 20 years of age. The teeth seem to be particularly prone to decay, and to come in anomalously, which can be inconvenient, painful, or both. Talk to your dentist about this.

its probably just hurting because the tooth is going/ripping through the gum as it grows. If pain persists, see your dentist he/she knows what to do.

it should be extracted before it messses up the rest of your teeth and your bite. some people can live with them forever - my mom is 72 and still has hers. i had mine until about 30 and then -it was cheaper to get them pulled as they needed - after a second cavity or whatnot - i have poor enamal so.....

if it's not impacted keep it, the pain will eventually go away, if it continues to be bothersome, then of course go see a dentist, it could be a problem.
