Because I have noticed that just because there is a lot to say about ilegal immigrants,some of you are insulting my culture.. and I am a LEGAL Mexican....Remember its not all of us Mexicans breaking the law.If you really want your country and culture respected, shouldn't you do the same?

I had to put this equation into standard form of a parabola: f(x)=(-x^2+6x-8). The standard form is: -(x-3)^2 +1. I found that the Vertex is (3,1), and the Yint was (0,-8) because I set all the X's as 0 because I was trying to find Y. But how do I do it for the Xint? If there is only one Y? y=-(x-3)^2 -1

Sorry if I am missing it... I just don't get it.

I just moved to a new city and I also just came out not too long ago! I am 25 and ready to "mingle". I do not have any gay friends in my new town, so I am hesitant to go out to the clubs/bars by myself.....I don't drink anyway! I am not in school, so that is not an option. I had a job interview on 10/9 and that went really well and then a second interview that also went really well. The first interviewer was really impressed with me, and she told the second interviewer about me and he was also impressed. Right now, they are doing a background check and it's gonna take a few days for it to come back. I have a crappy job right now, so should I go ahead and quit this job? The interviewer lady told me that everything was looking good for me. She wouldn't confirm that I was hired, but said she would definitely let me know when the background check came back. (My background is spotless, by the way). My sister says that most employers will not pay for a background check unless they are going to hire you. So back to my question, would you go ahead and quit your job or wait? ( I currently work 4:30 to 11am) Serious answers only!!!

ok...i remember showering my dog and like 2 days later she had a really strong awful smell..and i showered her again and she still was smelling reallly really bad!!! she threw up twice and shes a 4 year old poodle..and 2 weeks ago she got mated and ppl say that she is pregnant..so im not sure wats wrong with her!!! please help!!!!

I asked this question about 2 months ago and got thought-provoking, wonderful answers, so here I am, asking it again.

I am curious about other denominations besides my own and was wondering how they differ and compare. Please state your denomination and just tell me anything you would like about it. I respect differences and am not biased in any way. I am Lutheran. I have relatives who are Episcopal, I have friends that are Catholic, Covenant, and Lutheran. I've heard of Presbyterian, Methodist, Baptist, and several others. Please give me as much info as you can. Thanks. What does it matter how it came out. It's true.

If it wasn't true, Foley wouldn't have resigned in about 2 seconds.

Worst case scenario - "The democrats controlled every aspect of the Foley thing blowing up in the press"

Who cares?

As long as it's true, who care's how it came out. Foley is the villain, not anyone who helped get it out to the media.

This is the failure in logic of that argument. It is based on the purely partisan concept of malicious news. News is news, you have to be in pretty deep to think anything otherwise.

If it's true, it's good we know it.

I work at a hotel and I noticed that my boss does not pay the housekeepers over time. I think my boss does this becaues the housekeepers are illegal. I see that my boss is taking full advantage of them. I want to put a stop to it. I want those housekeepers paid with over time. I saw one of the housekeepers checks, and for two weeks the housekeeper worked 94 hours regular pay no over time. I want to put a stop to this, but how?

I think I'm being stalked by this guy. I've only talked to him once a couple weeks before, I asked him a question about homework. I had to go type up an essay and as I was going to library, I saw him and his friends hanging around down the hall. There was actually a class in there, so I couldn't use the computer. I went outside through another door on the other side of the library, and as I was going out, I see him coming in through the door I came in from. I start walking to the benches and I turn around. He's standing in front of the library and he's staring in my direction. The next day, I'm at lunch with my friends in the caf. He usually eats outside, but this time he sits by himself at the table across from mine. Two of his friends are in another class of mine, and they keep whispering to each other while staring at me. This guy is a grade above me, and we don't know each other at all. What's up with him?
