I need help playing Aveyond?

I went to thias and there was something in a cave that was beating me up. I have everything including the statue and the clock. anyway when I went back to the cave there was nothing there to fight. What am I missing. PLEASE HELP! This game is becoming annoying...

If you have the clock (from the glowberries quest), then you should get a "cut scene" where the demon becomes visible. IIRC, I wasn't able to move from the entrance for about 4 hits.
