Have just discovered 2 rows of dots next to my start bar?

Question

They only appear in my folder, no one elses, any ideas?
When i place the mouse over it it gives the double arrow, as if to expand, but nothing happens. From top to bottom, 2 rows of 4 .

well, what a load of tosh cuite! The two rows of dots, if you roll your mouse pointer over them, you will notice are actually a docking point, allowing you to move and dock your toolbar. Left click on your toolbar and click on . This will prevent you from inadvertently moving the toolbar and docking it elsewhere.

I think you have activated your "Quick Launch" task bar - you can drop all your fav programs into your task bar to launch them with just one click!!

Or if you prefer to have it as it was then just "right click" anywhere along the task bar next to your start button and then click on "task bars" and then "quick launch"
