I've seen a lot of ads regarding these Natural Light Full Spectrum Lamps. They run somewhere between $60 - a few HUNDRED dollars. Have you used them? Are they worth the money? I was specifically looking at the BLUEMAX Floor Lamps. Any relevant opinions would be greatly appreciated! THANKS!

I had an error with my computer, and some how my Yahoo Messenger is set to Dial up instead of Cable. It won't let me sign into Messenger, but I can view my mail. How do I change the settings to cable. I've been on cable for years, and I don't know how or why it got changed. On my Messenger tool bar, nothing is high lighted, so I can't change it there.

The black screen doesn't go away, and my computer lights still blink as if it's on. It only happens sometimes, and I was able to get rid of the screen if I closed my laptop forcefully. Now, nothing works. It's not really that big a deal, but it's bothersome since I always have to restart it whenever I wake up in the morning.

I have a Dell laptop, though .. I don't know anything else specific (my brother picked it out for me).

we did this lab about "absorbtion/action spectrum analysis", n we tested two pigment colors, green and yellow......now the question is which one is most absorbant?.....the graph of both look almost the same!! do you guyz have any ideas??? thx!

im a junior at a public high school and it is mandatory to participate in choir. This year we have a new teacher who has been giving us rather religous pieces that we will be singing in an upcoming performance. I made an appointment to talk with the dean at my school becuase a lot of kids are unhappy about the religous lyrics he has given us.
here are some of them:
"god i would die for thee"
"Mary has came and i am resounding with praise"
"I walk in the light of god"
"god was there when the earth began and for that i sing with joy"

Is this really allowed? Am i fighting for a lost cause?
Also he takes points off for abscenses excused or unexcused. Can he do this if we had excused abscenses by our parents? Doesn't he have to provide an alternate way to make up points?

I am all for gay marrige. I am straight and strongly believe in equal rights. It says someone in a AMERICAN document that ALL people have the right to the pursuit to life, liberty, and happiness and if being married makes people happy then more power to them. Same with Basic rights. My opinion may be a little biased by family members but i don't care. I just want other opinions so thank you.
