Its good you have a mind of your own and not influenced by biased opinions of others around you. You have a very healthy attitude. I am very much like you, I believe strongly in peoples rights....all rights. Unfortunately people opinions are too strong sometimes for them to get their head around these principals. If we were to take the Law literally, then arguements about peoples rights would not exist because all people would respect the Law as it is written. It is about respecting a persons Right to live their life anyway they see fit, and if it doesnt hurt anyone else, then they should be allowed to do it without feeling bad and without having to be judged by people who do not believe in Rights, only their own moral values. For each person too, moral values are different. I dont know if I would like to be gay....there are too many people out there who will bash you because of your sexual orientations. Its disgusting and I dont know why these type of people believe that it is Ok to do this. I wonder if they would change their minds if society as a whole expected all people to have sex with same sex partners...I wonder how they would feel being forced into a situation that turns them off. Well, that is what homophobics are expecting gay people to do.....they want them to conform to what they think is acceptable. There are so many people out there who are far too quick to judge. I find a lot of the offenders are Religious people...I cannot call them Christians because a real Christian is more tolerant and loving than that, and from memory the Bible says Judge Not and Ye Shall Not be Judged.
Just keep on having an open mind like you have and you will go far. You may not have the most popular opinion, but who cares, you have the right opinion and thats all that matters.

the challenge is that express communities of Christians are ineffective-set on attempting to tension anybody to stay via their faith's regulations, notwithstanding we live in an earthly us of a that constitutionally forbids having a longtime faith. legal marriage and Christian marriage are *diverse* -- this must be made sparkling via the reality that 2 atheists can get married in a courthouse and not in any respect have the word "God" reported as quickly as. there is not any valid reason to bar comparable-intercourse couples from the legal corporation of marriage and all of the rights and privileges linked with it. whether any non secular team needs to approve or disapprove of somebody's marriage, or bestow or withhold their blessing, is their very own company, and could haven't any impression outdoors the doorways of their place of worship. @Jim/bible-comments: a million&2: because it at the instant stands, the tax burden and scientific wellness coverage fees are disproportionately severe on comparable-intercourse couples, who're barred from taking area in the advantages that anybody else gets. allowing comparable-intercourse marriage could be rectifying an inequality, no longer inflicting an injustice on at once couples. you may to boot have pronounced that giving women the vote become unfair to men, because of fact it made a guy's man or woman vote have much less impression. 3&4: in simple terms because of fact your faith says that gay intercourse is "deeply immoral," would not make you objectively superb, or mean that the secular government of this us of a is obligated to accept as true with you. @Ducky: "Love" isn't the non secular definition of marriage; that's the societal definition. And no, marriage *hasn't* stayed the comparable over 1000's of years, throughout cultures. Polygyny (having diverse better halves) was prevalent, and remains allowed in some components of the worldwide. better halves was the valuables of their husbands, no longer able to very own materials or enter into contracts independently. There was no such concept as marital rape. i'm happy we replaced those definitions of marriage. Why shouldn't we alter it lower back now?

I think gay marriages are on the lines of polyagmy. It's not "morally" right. People od it, and I don't knock them for their happiness. A legal marriae should always be the bond of MAN & WOMAN

There are over one-hundred and fifty privliges that come with matrimony. So, absolutely, anyone (gay, straight, bisexual, transgendered, etc.) should be allowed to participate in marriage.
