why do we have a goose and the plural is geese, yet you have a moose and the plural is not meeses???

Im going to university next year and i really dont no what i want to do. I like working with people and im very good with children. i was thinking of doing social work but you have to be in a placement 4 3 days a week and i dont want to do that. At aleval i did sociology psychology and a btech in early years. so what do you think?

We put up a bat house a year ago. There seems to be no sign of any bats stopping by. We installed it under the eave of a tall farm building, near a lake. You'd think the bats would love it there, with mosquitoes plentiful near the lake.. Any idea how to attract the bats. Location, Kentucky.

I am just 17 and the phenomenan here in my place is after school everyones pursuing either in medicine or engineering. Thought I might go for engineering but theres too many types of engineering to choose from. Dad insists I take up Electrical while my teachers recommend chemical. my bf and i are planning to get married soon, but b4 that i made a little experiment, i used another yahoo id to chat him. after some introduction of ourselves, the other me asked him if he is committed and he said "no, i dont have a gf yet". and he wants "us" to meet immediately, he give his number to me and he said he will wait for my call or sms. i know i lied too.. help me wat will i do? will i tell him that i am the one that he wants to meet... or what.. y does he wants us to setlle down when he is not man enough to admit that he is already committed?? ;(

found out 2 days after i moved and he went accross the country that he loved me to- never able to find him again- also think of him constantly-so much that every few months or so, i try to look him up....well last week i found him-:( what the hell!- do i call him and "see how hes doing"-or does he move again,only this time in fear of me being totally psycho? im not doubting my sanity- i wont beg him to leave his wife or anything if hes married, i just still miss him- ive compared every guy since then to him -and i still dream about him at night- ive never loved anyone else like i did and do him...............................at LEAST give me some pointers....

Hair on different part of our bodies grows to different lengths, and those lengths vary between people, as well as between areas of the body. After shaving (or cutting), hair grows (if allowed to grow to its maximum) to its previous length (more or less). So if you leave your leg hair to grow to its maximum, it stops growing. If you then shave your legs, your hair grows, but only as long as it was before - no-one has underarm hair reaching down to their pelvis.

Why is this? How does head hair 'know' to grow longer than other body hair?
