I'm a single mum divorced over a year ago.Although i had a masters degree but I've just finished doing my second masters after the divorce. I thought i'd be ok if i studied more, would find a decent job. I had a target to achieve. But everything seems to be falling apart now.I've lost all hope and confidence. I dont think i can work at my present state of mind. I dont get out of my house much except for taking my kid to school.I dont have much friends as my ex didnt like me to have friends. Just cant seem to move on with my life. I've thought of seeking counselling but i dont want anti depressants and i'm not too comfortable with the idea of going to a shrink, no offence to anyone. Maybe someone can advise me what to do, somone with similar experience as mine

Claim that the tax they pay "which is an average of 22%" is paying for peoples state benefits, when state benefits are actually taxed 22% before the recipient recieves it. I am employed myself & am puzzled by this, also by the fact that I don't pay tax, tax is taken from me.

This a thermodynamic question from a chapter on specific heats, entropy & adaibatic-processes: "Commerical jet aircraft fly at cruising altitudes between 30,000 & 40,000 ft. Yet such aircraft carry heat exchangers to cool cabin air while flying at these altitudes. (a) Estimate the air temperature at which jet aircraft fly. (b) Explain why it is necessary to cool cabin air at cruising altitudes. Hint: The ratio of the heat capacities of air at constant pressure and volume is about 1.4." I alrealy have the answer to (a). It's 181 Kelvins. I need help with (b). Even if you could just give me a verbal answer for why airplanes have to cool their cabins and hence pressurize them would be helpful. Thanks.

I'm a 19 year old female, with a previous history of Eating disorders. I get intense pain in one of my knees, sometimes after strenous exercise, but sometimes just randomly, espeically when it's cold. It sometimes is slightly swollen also. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

Why is it so difficult for the U.S. media to pair up Asian females with Asian males when these realtionships represent the majority of relationships in the U.S.? Why do they need to pair Asian females with nonAsian males 99% of the time, mostly with white males, sometimes black males and never hispanic males? They don't do this with females of any other race and they don't pair up Asian males with white females almost ever at all. What's with hypocrites telling me I'm racist for noticing this but won't admit to the racism of the media towards Asians in general particularly the way they divide Asian males and females in this country? Shouldn't the majority of Asian females be paired up with Asian males like the majority of black females are paired up with black males, Spanish females with Spanish males, white males with white females etc, etc. What gives with the racist hypocrisy of the U.S. media?

I like Rum & Coke... ok well I LOVE Rum & Coke. But everytime I get it at a bar it's either wayyyyyyy too strong (like 50/50 or less) or way too light.

I like 1 part rum to 3 parts Coke. How do I communicate this to the bar tender?

Should I be like:
"I want a 1 to 3 rum and coke"
or
"I want a 3 to 1 rum and coke"
or am I way off track.


When I say bar, I mean a bar at a club....... wayy too loud to tell him what I want.
