ok i know its raining but on 660 they were talking about mlb possibly canceling the game b/c of his death like they did when the yankee died in 79

it was postponed because of the weather only. MLB decided earlier that they would not postpone either the alcs or the nlcs because of the tragic death of cory lidle.
the weather in new york though is not good, raining hard with no let up in sight. they will attempt to play the first game of the series thursday night and rather than an off/travel day friday, will play game 2. time of fridays game is still undetermined.
