if you had a s/o or partner or lover who smoked tobacco and you did not smoke tobacco,

and you were clear you simply DID NOT want to be with a smoker under any circumstances , AND you cared for the person very much and had committed to accepting that person just the way they are but were not willing to give in on the smoking bit - besides some cold ultimatum, how would you resolve it?

Come on, if anyone gets stuck in the desert with no food or water for a few days, imaginary friends or enemies, and life or death scenarios, even deep philosophical thought shouldn't be out of the ordinary for a starving thristy man who by all accounts was a little off kilter to begin with. Remember, they had no psycho-pharmaceuticals in his day.

My boyfriend said, "go ahead, check" there are no incriminating emails. I looked and found stuff in old folders. (he was cheating on me as well). My question now is, if they also show my boyfriend's best friend being derogatory and cheating behind his girlfriend's back, would you send the emails to her? I feel bad because she is very nice and has no idea.

A recent Polish immigrant that I worked with left and went back to Poland saying that he had had it with living in North American society .He said point blank in his words, "Everything is for work", meaning that all anyone cares about is working and making money. He told be that in Europe people cared about quality of life NOT working oneself to death....What do you think. Anyone have experience working in both areas????Thx.

I have a mini poodle who is eight years old, What do you think his quality of life would be? I don't know if It's wrong to keep him alive he keeps running into everything. contains phenylophrine which ive just found out causes the blood flow supply to the baby to slow down which could stop the oxygen getting through ive had about 4 tablets over the weekend cause i havnt been able to get rid of all this congestion and my doctor is useless keeps saying your pregnant deal with it you cant have anything, the baby is kicking well.

it seems like something's in the air but all of my single friends, myself included, are feeling exceptionally lonely. we are all attractive girls. we are fun, have good jobs, are super down to earth. what's the deal? we go out to bars and clubs and meet people. we meet people at bbq's and football games. but still in the midst of it all feel lonely. is anyone else feeling like that? it's the weirdest thing ever to me.
