When I was pregnant the Dr. told me anything Tylenol was o.k. Tylenol cold and flu, Tylenol, Tylenol nighttime. Try taking Tylenol. Otherwise your Dr. is right, your pregnant. Unfortunetly, you just have to deal. I know it's hard but, you need to do whatever is best for the baby.

Oh, my gosh. Don't worry. You are fine. I am 23 weeks and I had a sinus infection. My dr put me on an antibiotic and sudafed. He said it was perfectly safe during pregnancy. He also said I can take Benedryl - but it makes me tired..... Don't worry. Some meds are not safe but the one you took is just fine.

The doctor isn't useless, he's telling you what's best for the health of your unborn child, nothing.
Pregnancy will actually cause your blood vessels to swell, making you feel congested. Some people complain of congestion through out their entire pregnancy. It would serve you well to follow your doctor's recommendations and suck it up and stop putting the health of your unborn at risk because you "can't handle" a stuffy nose.

Most doctors say sudafed is just fine in pregnancy. Let your doctor know just to be safe, but don't beat yourself up about it either.

Well that's great because my dr told me that sudefed was the only thing I could safely take. I was so sick he has to put me on antibiotics though, maybe that's why.
