No halloween is just a fun holiday for kids (and parents) to go out and get dressed up, get candy and........ just have fun.

(1) the "devil" does not exist. So the word "satanic" has a rather limited meaning I'm afraid.
(2) one should not confuse "satanic" with "pagan", in its generally accepted meaning in the West, i.e. "non-Christian". Halloween is certainly "pagan", but why should it be "satanic"?
(3) the issues get muddled further by the fact that the Catholic Church has largely, over the centuries, spread by integrating rather than replacing existing "pagan" religions. So local deities, say the numerous Roman gods, became "saints" - and it is fine to pray to them instead of praying to God. So the Romans, the Gauls, the Saxons, etc all had a good of thunder - this was replaced by Saint Barbara. Many of those peoples had a "Mother Goddess" - this was replaced by Mary, who has a minimal role in the Bible, but is a huge deity for the Catholic Church (I'd say at least 60-70 percent of the prayers go to her).
So maybe non-Catholic Christians could decide to call Halloween "pagan" - but Catholics, not!
I am a Christian. But I believe that, if we were in a world where druidic religions still dominated, with celebrations of nature, seasons, water, earth, they could be excused to find our worshipping of a crucified, bloody man (Son of God), rather "pagan", "brutal", and possibly even "satanic".
All a matter of point of view I guess ;-)

Me 2......... It was fun to play at night. In Malaysia, there are sure no Halloween but my school really make it just 4 us to play and have fun!! We get the fun through 2:45A.M

halloween can be satanic, it is what you make it.. if you make it a fun time it'll be fun, if ur into what it originally started out being it can be satanic, it's a personal choice

I think its cool where kids can dress up and be anything that they want to be for a night and get candy as a bonus.
