Even if you don't believe in God, even if the Bible really is just a 'fairy tale', wouldn't it still be a great book to follow morally? I mean it has alot of great teachings in there about life and love and relationships. 'Thou Shall not kill' can just be turned into to murder anyone. capish?

My fiance's stepson from his previous marriage still lives in the home with us. I am very uncomfortable with this situation. This is "her" son and I feel that every move I make is being monitored and reported back to his mother. This was also the house they lived in and it's bad enough going in behind her let alone living with "her" child. I want him to move out. He is 23 years old and does not contribute to the household whatsoever. He pays no bills & does not help out around the house any . He comes in and out all hours of the nights. You never know when he's going to pop in at any given moment. I am very uncomfortable with this situation. I don't approve of his lifestyle. He goes to a lot of porn sites on the computer & I have a 14 yr old daughter that may see some of these websites. It's just a gut feeling that I have with him. I don't feel it's right. My fiance is trying to move on with his life & I don't feel it includes his ex's children? Am I wrong to feel this way?

i want to know how to "fire" the cap bank into a emp coil without the voltage returning to my switch. I have the coil, the 3 500 volt caps and a hv switch. What i am asking is

1) Is there some kind of one way diode i can use?
2) is a standrd rado shaq project box ok to put the cap bank in
3) any tips on making sure it fires away from me not at me (out front of barrel not the back)

With the NATO commander saying that the local Afghan population will soon be siding with the Taliban and our troops risking their lives with limited equipment and now several hundred troops/police being killed and poisoned in Iraq in the latest offensive, where are we heading with this war? Are we just playing into the hands of these people? What will be the sign that we have won this war? Will it go on for ever? Some of these people are willing to die fighting against us! I feel for our troops and the innocent people caught up in all of this.

I know that if you are with your partner then you want him there and he wants to be there as he is the father but is he really the best person to have around? Would a Mum or sister not be better? if you lose a loved one senselessly, suddenly in an accident, tragically (freak or act of nature) or when you are grieving, the friends of the same faith gave your no help.......

would you lose your faith in your god? in yourself? (if u are an atheist) & in life in general? OR would you bounce back & be more fervent.
