How did mysterious Marilyn Munroe die?

I am young, so don't swear in your answer. Also, I read it in Reader's Digest. Was itPJFK? She did know a bit too much. He read her diary, and siad she should never write certain things down on paper. What do you guys think???????

I think it is fantastic that someone young wants to know about Marilyn Monroe.
I do believe she died of a drug overdose, but unfortunately it isn’t anything as exciting as Hollywood would like people to believe. At the end of the day Marilyn Monroe was one and probably still is one of the biggest icons ever to have lived and I can not ever see anyone replacing her either. There is no truth in the rumor at all that JFK or one of the Kennedy’s killed her, the death of Marilyn Monroe could not possibly be a quiet one in the press and if you believe every thing you read you will end up believing she even had JFK’s child and is living in Mexico !

But I do believe it was an over dose , but as boring as it sounds I think it was accidental, simply an accidental over dose which was possibly ( so some people believe ) administered by way of an enema by her house keeper Eunice Murray.

PS, as some would believe, Marilyn did not spend a week with JFK before his death as Marilyn died in Aug 1962 and JFK Nov 1963 so well a year after Marilyn had died. Also her death was not the doing of the MOB contrary to what people believe.

Please read a good book or join a good group where you will only be told truths, it would be wonderful to put an end to speculation and gossip about MM & JFK.The sad truth is that the truth is never as exciting as the stories people want to believe and spread, people love a good gossip at other peoples expence, esp when they are dead and can not speak up for themselves, sad but true.

A few books have been written about this. The only thing we know for sure was that she was heavily dosed on prescription anti-deprresants. Whether it was accidental, suicidal or a possible murder, the general public does not know.

Okay they did away with my first answer, somehow, so I'll try this again.. I dont feel the president had her killed at all.. He loved Marilyn Monroe, and if he could have devorced his own wife had he not have been the President, I think he would have, thats how much he loved Marilyn.. He spent time with Marilyn, one week before, his death.. And I believe because if he didn't like her keeping a journal, alls he had to do, was take it away from her, they were intimate, he didn't have to have her killed to get it.. JFK, wanted to do away with the MOB, and during their (Marilyn & JFKs) time together, I'm sure she was not only his lover, but his confidant.. The MOB, didn't like JFK, wanting to do away with them, so what a better way to send a message to the President than to kill something, or someone he loved ! Marilyn was on Pain medication, during this particular time.. and was weening off of it, according to her best-friend, and ex-room-mate, Shelly Winters.. Shelly said, she knows Marilyn, didn't Overdose, because they had just had lunch together close to her day, she was murdered, and Marilyn was talking about how proud of herself she was, that she was weening or off of the meds, completely, (I dont remember, which), but, she was not the "Dumb-Blonde" she portrayed,to America, that was all an "Act" to get her into the business, on the contrary, Marilyn, was a very smart woman!! According to Shelly Winters, her old room-mate, and best-friend... I feel the MOB, wanted to send out a warning to JFK, by killing Marilyn, and receiving the journal, in the process... A warning for JFK, to quit trying to go after them! And since, he didn't listen, they then turned around and shot him right in the LIMO...He loved Marilyn Monroe, and with all their times together, and all his confiding in her, alls he would have had to do, was simply ask for the journal, for her own protection.. And I'm sure she would have gave it to him, being that she was as much in love with him, as he her... That would not have been grounds to Murder, a woman he loved!! The MOB, and most of the world knew, JFK, was having an affair, with her, so what a better way to get a message to the "Prez" than to kill someone he loved !!! I read Shelly Winter's autobiography, in the book she mentions, having lunch, with Marilyn, around a week, or so before, she died, and how Marilyn was so happy, because she either quit, her medicine, or was weening off of them, one or the other... So, Shelly was "Furious" that they made her out to look like it was a "Suicide", because, she knew facts that Marilyn was getting off of them! And its also not true, that she'd want to kill herself, even if the rumor were true, that she & JFK, had broken-up, because, they hadn't ...She was with JFK, one week before he was shot !! So thats not true, either... I think, its all the MOBs, doings, both of their murders!! JFK,, wanted to run our country, MOB-FREE!!! He was a bit like "Honest-Abe" in that respect !! Altho, Honest Abe, never had an affair, on his wife, that I've ever heard of.. But, as far as "Running" our country, he was alot like Abe Lincoln!! And he probably even looked up to Abe, as a Mentor, of sorts, with his, way of running our country.. So, that's just my theory, it wasn't an Over-dose, and it wasn't JFKs, doings, either!! I simply think, the MOB, just wanted to keep doing what ever they wanted, and the only way that was possible, was to silence, some people, like Marilyn and JFK! Its all very sad, but, the MOB, dont care who they hurt, or how they do it , either!! And I also believe, thats, why, Jackie Onassis, fleed, America, after her husband, was Murdered, for fear, she'd possibly be next, or one of her two children would be... Jackie, Onassis, was JFKs, wife, when he was in the white house, before he was assasinate,in case you didn't know who I was talking about.. Jackie, no longer wanted anything to do with any of it, anymore!! The affairs, her husband,and brother in-law, both getting killed, her husbands lover, she ran, and ran fast, and kept a very low profile, for alot of years!!! So, this also leads me back, to thinking she knew too much, and was afraid, she could be next! The MOB, couldn't get to her, being on an island, with one of thee wealthiest men, on the planet, to protect her!! So anyway, those are my theories, all the MOBS, doings!!!
