I am an executive in the only company I have ever worked for (14 years) so I have never had to look for a job. My wife suggests a Head Hunter (mainly because she worked with one that specialized in her field). I have heard bad things from just about every other source I know that has used one. What is the general feelings on them? Do they help you with resumes and such things?

Alright, honestly who among us wants to admit this? Not I for sure. I love my fiance dearly. Nothing, including his parents, is going to keep us from being married. That said, how much mistreatment am I supposed to tolerate? His mom basically told him to choose between me and them. He chose me. Seems simple enough. But he is miserable. So I guess either way I am damed. I can tell he wants to have a relationship with his parents even though he was told to choose. Am I just supposed to pretend they do not say hateful things about me? Am I suposed to pretend I don't care how they treat my kids? Am I supposed to ignore when they do and say something hateful to a person I love? I really do not understand this. Why would anyone want to put themselves through all of that. I would be very content to turn our backs on the whole hateful situation, but that doesn't really seem to be an option. So has anyone else been through anything like this? If so I would appreciate any words

I think it would make a huge difference if the media happened to mention the following

In 1994 The blundering Clinton administration agreed to provide North Korea with two light-water nuclear reactors in exchange for ending its nuclear weapons program. It IS possible to extract weapons-grade material from light-water reactors.(who didnt see this coming?)

What's more surprising is Donald Rumsfeld sat on the board of the company that won the $200 million contract to provide the design and key components for the reactors.

The company is Zurich-based engineering giant ABB, which signed the contract in early 2000, before Rumsfeld gave up his board seat and joined the Bush administration. He was on the board from 1990 to early 2001.

In May 2001, the DOE, after consulting with the new Rumsfeld Pentagon, authorized delivery of nuclear technology to North Korea. Groundbreaking ceremonies attended by Westinghouse and N. Korean officials were held Sept. 14, 2001--three days after 9/11

I have just started my MSc in London, and I'm feeling really lonely. I love the city, but I really miss my partner (who I was living with before I moved down to London, from Birmingham). My new housemates are really noisy and its really hard for me to get to sleep at night. I have asked them to be quiet, which they try to do, but I don't think they realise they ar being so loud. I don't want to nag anymore.

I live right by the train station, and everyday its so tempting to just jump on the train home.

I know I need to give it more time, but at the moment its awful. All the people on my course are really nice, but as the course is intensive, we are all very busy, and noone really socialises outside of uni. I love london and I love my course, but I'm finding it hard to be here alone.

I am sitting in locked lab now, typing this, as I would rather stay here than go home. I feel so depressed there.

Anyone ever felt the same?

okay so heres the deal. i had a boyfriend, but we broke up right after our 7 months. and then there is this kid on my bus [Dan] that i have always had a strong connection with, and now that i know me and my ex are completly done i was definitly gonna go for this kid on my bus. but then all of a sudden out of random, one of my really good friend [joey] asked me out. now joey and me always like flirt with eachother joking around kind of thing. and i never thought he was going to ask me out. but if i didnt feel a little bit attracted to him then i would automatically say no. and if Dan wasnt in the picture then i would say yes. what do i do. i see dan on the bus [and he goes to a different school] and we have a really strong connection, and joey i see in school, joey i might have a better relationship with, ive gone out with him before and this time i think he's really gonna try to make it work, but if i went out with him i feel bad that i keep taking this chance away from him.

Ok, so i wake up, or at least I thought i woke up, and i was fishing on Triton (or whichever is the frozen moon of Saturn). I poked some holes in the ground with a chopstick and laid an uncooked piece of Mackrel over the holes. After waiting a few minutes I got a lollypop stick and scratched away the surface near to the Mackrel and saw some fish (i don't know what species) swimming under the surface of the ice.

I start to laugh for some unknown reason, and then somehow wind up in a corner alcove of a bar with a woman i am attracted to (in real life) and she tells me that she hasn't contacted me because she's been having a relationship with a married man.

Answers please!

My bf and I have been together for over 2 years now, living together for almost 1. Things have been great, we are very close and have a great time together. He has been working 500 miles away for about 6 months now, but we see each other every weekend. He used to say that he was going to marry me someday, and I liked to hear it, even though I knew we weren't ready. Well.....I am ready now, and he isn't doing anything about it. It's not even the ring, it's the promised commitment I'm looking for from him. We are both in our late 20's. How can I let him know how important this is to me, without making it sound like an ultimatum?
