I've been to Cabo San Lucas and Mazatlan. In both instances I had a great time. The natives are friendly but beware of the time share sales people. They're relentless! Lots of natives selling trinkets on the beaches too.
I enjoyed their culture.

Well, unless I learned the language, I would not go there to live, unlike some groups of people that come here and think that we should learn their language to accommodate them.
