first of all it was the soviet union that won world war 2, even the german soldiers admitted that, so if it wasn't for the soviets german would be the spoken language,so thank the soviets for freeing europe. an while you called the soviets the evil empire you created the third world, the reason people in the world are working for a dollar a day is all down to the u.s and its allies.you control how much thier raw materials are worth through your stock markets. the poor of the world will never be able to help them selves unless the break the shackles of evil capitalist imperials rule.

When I travel around the world I certainly DO NOT get the impression that people "hate the USA".

I know that there are some that do but that has a LOT MORE to do with them and their interests, ambitions, and circumstances than it has to do with us.

I think most of the noise about people around the world "hating the USA" is just more far-left wing propaganda ginned up by the Weak Sisters here at home and their minions in the mainstream media.

Are you an idiot? What do we give back to the world? We exploit more than half the nations of the world. Our country uses almost all of the world's resources. We support the dictators that oppress their people to give us more money. and the very fact that we could own the world is part of why people don't like us. We are too powerful, and have been corrupted by it. Remember, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. If we are a superpower does that mean we are super-corrupted? Try learning about what we do to the rest of the world, not just our friends in Europe. At least even they can see what is wrong with us. Open your eyes, you poor sheltered fool.

It is indeed the little incidents........

The lying about the weapons of mass destr.
We bring you democracy but oops, we want your oil.
The Geneva convention, oops we forgot.

I have to stop or the CIA will arrest me for giving an opinion, oops freedom of speech.

Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against Americans, some I know are loving, caring and very bright friends but for a lot of people in this world this USA government is an evil empire.

Well, when ya got what everybody wants, you become the victim of envy! Plain and simple. Were the best in terms of our freedoms, our job market, our economy, our way of life, you name it. Ya know I can pick up right now and move to another city anywhere in American and if I'm a law abiding hard working person, can just be another face in the system. If I moved from one city to another in Germany, France, Italy or most other european countries. I have to de-register with the town I'm leaving, and register with the town I'm moving into. Hmmmm now theres personal freedom for ya Huh? Something most Americans especialy the ones that whine about freedoms being taken away will never have to expericance cause it isnt required here :) I have a house, a big yard, a swimming pool, 2 cars and a motorcycle. These are the sorts of things most europeans can only dream of. One reason is, they get taxed to death (See free health care) Here in the good ole U.S. we can make choices.

The people do not hate us. They hate the Bush junta. Of course, people easily equate Americans with the Bush junta and every crime that has been committed by them. But show them that Americans are not all mindless Bush sheep and they warm up. You can discuss politics with them and make them see their point if you are open enough and listen enough to their points. You will see, we are much more alike than you think.

no, but look at it like this. your reputation can be damaged by one bad thing, even though you may have done several good things.

our government has hypocritically used military might to spread our economic influence around the world for 50 years. we have overthrown democratically elected leaders (nicaragua), we have supported mujaheddin (taliban) against the soviets in afghanistan during the cold war, we delivered saddam hussein precursors to bio weapons for use against iran. we trade guns for hostages, and play despots against their own people for our own gain. we support dictators as long as they play ball with our corporations, but cry foul when they begin looking after the interests of their own people.

some people just don't get all of this and don't realize that our foreign policy for the past 40-50 years has involved globalization, and the spread of our capitalist influence regardless of the existing cultural desires of the countries with which we dealt. we have not been very diplomatic nor have we been fair. that is why they (rightfully perhaps) hate us...

they hate us unfairly because they are jealous of our power. but that is not why they would be willing to die.

Haha, most of your tax money goes not to foreign countries- but to your military, and your inefficient, yet costly public schools and healthcare. In fact, haven't you heard of the "trade-deficit"? It means that more money is going into the USA than out. Hmm.

And thanks to the USA, I almost would be speaking Russian today. Even WW2 isn't as black and white as you'd make it to be. Besides, it's really a no-brainer to even bring it up. You could argue that it is thanks to Europe that USA excists, so in fact it is thanks to Europe's forethought that it remains as nationally diverse as it is today.

In the fewest words, right now America is adding to the world's problems, not helping to solve them.

That's very simple. People are Jealous, and they want are Economy and freedoms. The vast majority of people like Iran, and N. Korea hate us because there leaders control the Media in those countries, and are only told what the leaders want them to know. So there evil leaders blame the USA for things, so they really have no choice but to believe them.
