First off he cannot legally own business in US being an illegal immigrant. Second if he is indeed illegal then he doesn't pay taxes! How can he is US has no record of him?! He employs 55 The US economy would hardly be devastated by the unemployment of 55! What of the legal immigrants who worked hard and waded through system to get where they are? Your Friend gets free ride and avoids hard work!
Just how did he get a business with being legal? I will tell you how he falsified documents again a crime! If his business is doing well someone can pick it up but again 55 hardly kills our economy. Where do you draw the line no if you cant work with the system then get out! Its not very hard to become a legal American! There are both Americans and legal immigrants who could work such a business and pay taxes to support our country. Don't tell me he is paying taxes because if he is illegal he cannot.

Well my opinion is that illegal immigrants do work hard for less money. But if they don't want to take the time and become apart of our coutry why should we take time to let them stay longer? Because you could get a visa or apply for citizenship. I mean I understand there lives may been hard from were they came from but that dont give them the right to take our jobs that we need. Plus what if there a criminal from there country? We don't need no more crime that what we have now. I mean if they want a better life without having to worry about getting caught they should appy if they don't nothing to hide but there dreams. I know some immigrants and they are nice people and i ask them why don't you apply for citizenship. They tell me that there scared they will be caught a deported and they want to remain to there country. Then that brings me to this, Why did you come? If you love your country so much that has done bad to you but yet you come over here and use ours. But to your question, I think you should or to give him the chace to apply and if he don't send him home. I understand life is hard but if you don't cheat it it will be better. Plus he would have a constant worry cuz one day he will be caught.

Good morning to you too. (Although it's already evening where I live)

I think they already are part of our economy whether we like it or not. And for this case where he is employing mostly US Citizens and Legal Immigrants, I think the best thing is to help him obtain some sort of legal status. I mean, I know he is illegal but the question is, how ethical would it be to send 55 people (remember these are people with families to support) to the unemployment line?

If he is an illegal alien then yes his business should be closed. While we would have compassion for those people who lost their jobs, the law is the law. Your post is akin to saying that because the mafia ran legitimate businesses and provided jobs to people that we should not arrest them for their crimes. Do not tell me it is not the same thing. While crimes may have degrees they are still violations of the law. However, if we consider your question in a more broad context, I think it can be said that all working illegals contribute to the economy because they do spend some of the money they earn. Thereby returning capital to the economy as a whole.

Illegal is illegal. Does he have a license to have a business in the US? If not he is in violation. I think that if something is illegal then it is forbidden. I don't care what it is. Our citizens go to jail everyday for illegal acts like possession drugs or theft. A illegal immigrant is stealling from out US governement. Should we allow it? Should we continue to let them stay here with no repercussions? I think not. All those wanting to enter the USA should do it in a legal manner. If they are criminals or terrorists or unemployed they should go home.
Do you know how many Family Resouce Centers and other agencies out there are giving these people money and help? I sat on the board of one and found the government give each of them hundreds of thousands of dollars to clothe, feed, and put a roof over their head. All the illegals come in for hand outs once they learn the system. It never stops. And they never stop coming to they?

Illegal is still illegal. Yes I do say close him down, then a legal citizen will pick up his work, and the legal workers will find other work..... when we move the illegals out.

Yes, close his business and send him back to his country. The employees will have to find jobs working for citizens or legal immigrants. If they are smart they will go to the deported illegal's customers and start their own businesses doing the same thing.

If he is ilegal he should be sent home. Plain and simple. It may not be the case this time but in most cases that an ilegal ownes a buisness he hires all ilegals and then makes a killing because he doesnt pay them many bucks. This is not the way to conduct things in america it is sad.

There goes wanda again below me with vague comments and no just reasoning wow she amazes me if i new her i think id punch her in the face for such dumbness
