I think it would make a huge difference if the media happened to mention the following
In 1994 The blundering Clinton administration agreed to provide North Korea with two light-water nuclear reactors in exchange for ending its nuclear weapons program. It IS possible to extract weapons-grade material from light-water reactors.(who didnt see this coming?)
What's more surprising is Donald Rumsfeld sat on the board of the company that won the $200 million contract to provide the design and key components for the reactors.
The company is Zurich-based engineering giant ABB, which signed the contract in early 2000, before Rumsfeld gave up his board seat and joined the Bush administration. He was on the board from 1990 to early 2001.
In May 2001, the DOE, after consulting with the new Rumsfeld Pentagon, authorized delivery of nuclear technology to North Korea. Groundbreaking ceremonies attended by Westinghouse and N. Korean officials were held Sept. 14, 2001--three days after 9/11
