Dallas, hands down. Houston is more of an industrial city, and just sort of...icky. Dallas is less humid, less polluted, and has more to do as far as night life, museums, etc...

Imposable to answer and constantly changing as it all depends and your personality likes and dislikes I my self chose Tampa as the best city to live in which is were I bought a house and live happily however.
However Tampa is not so good anymore due to the jump in housing prices.
Why did I chose Tampa first I am from NY so I needed a more active area to live in so sleepy towns were out of the question,
So i enjoy Tampa as I also prefer the weather here as it hot but cooler then NY in the summer and the rest of the year the weather blows away most of the country in my opinion,
However it would be a lousily place for some one who loves snow and cold weather

There is one city which has got African, European,Asian,Caribbean,American,Latin and oceanic cultures combined together . It looks like London. New York, Beijing, Perth, Sao Paulo, Athens or even Oslo.
Cape Town will be the best because you can fit in .

Well, for me ROME (Italia) is the best city.
There is everything, starting from ancient to high technologies of nowdays.
