I know this is not an "internet" question, but figured you guys could help....This is where the smart people hang out.....LOL

I am an American, but I live in Northern Ireland. I was a school teacher in Tennessee, and the school board has finally sent me my check for last year's salary.....My question is this.....

I am not allowed to open a bank account yet, because you have to live here for a certain period of time, before they allow you to open one.

The check is for almost $32,000......

How am I going to get this money? Who will cash a check that large?

I am thinking of trying one of those check-cashing places, but they charge a fee......I am sure that it would be a hefty fee on a check that large.....They may not cash checks that large anyway.....

What should I do?

What type of I.D. will I need to show them? How long will it take for them to verify the check, or do they have to do that?

It is in US funds, will that be problem?

first off, ive been very very worried i was prego. my time was coming around and a few days late i started to feel like i was going to have my period. about 1/2 week after i should have started i still felt like i was starting, but only found blood when i wiped, then as the day continued i had a light flow. the next day, the bleeding seemed completely normal except for when i pee. ive been bleeding substantially when i pee, and it seems a little bit darker as well. ive also been having severe menstrual cramps and some back pain.

im really heart broken when my very good friend (yeah hes my crush) did not get back in touch with me....its been over 3 weeks he's not really bothered to contact me back....be4 he left (hes gone u london for studies) we were like always on text msging ... yeah we used to talk all non sense...crap...flirt....solvin problems... n tht made me fall for him.... i made him this card sot of thingy too wen he left...he appreciated it very much... he asked me to mail and all....now hes gone he din really try n get back in contact!! i mean we were soooo close.....and shared almost everthing... now i have written this mail telling him all this tht he did not bother to reply (i mailed him 3rice each weekend) and whenever he chatted online he never spoke...

ive witten in the mail about me being hurt n tht i was a fool waiting for his mails. and tht he did not bother... should i mail him or no???

Extremely curious... I know that Jewish people practice the same religion but then it is differnt forms of the religion (Orthodox, etc.). So can a christian person become Jewish if they wanted to or do you have to be born into it? Please explain. Is this a nationality or religion??
