It has to be American for several reasons I can think of without trying,

1. Horrible nasal lazy drawling whiny sound most of them make
2. Vomit-inducing phrases they invent "Y'all come back now you hear", "Missing you already", etc., etc
3. The insincere way they use the word "Sir" when they speak to you
4. Then they have the broad-faced cheek to take the English language, misspell half the words (labor, color, etc) and subvert meanings (bum, trunk, etc.)

Maybe some other readers here will agree with me - there is only once accent that drives me nuts, and that is the accent of the person on the other end of your phone at tech support. And if that were not bad enough, when you mention it to them as politely as you can with a "I can't understand what you are saying" they get all huffy with you and assert, arrogantly, that their English is perfectly okay. If any "accents" bother me, the folks at tech support who maintain they don't have an accent would probably the one that would qualify! Sent with good energies from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A. (I am 63 years old. Actually, I think I may be luckier than some people, but I know a lot of people I have spoken with have real trouble understanding tech support types.)

I cannot stand the Indian accent when they speak English.
Slightly less annoying would be those who try to speak English with a would be Irish accent as soon as they work out I'm Irish.
It may be less annoying but it bugs me all the same as they just sound totally stupid.
I'm also from the North and certain N Ireland accents can be pretty awful but alot of people compliment on mine!
It all depends how you use your voice I think.
Sorry I temporarily forgot my dislike not only of their accent but of their general stupidity!

To a person from the American West or Midwest, the New England accent or a British accent sounds very effeminate.
To some northern females, a southern US accent sounds sexy, but most northerners, when they hear a southern accent, assume that the speaker is not overly bright.
I like the Scottish accent. Hoots mon, there's a loose moose aboot the hoose.

A Liverpudlian accessory would be very advantageous, take Paul McCartney's for an occasion. you purely hear harsh and aggressive accents whilst the mouth they arrive from is that of a harsh or aggressive individual. It makes no distinction the place one comes from. a loss of intelligence with a bout of verbal diarrhoea will continuously be balk worth, only look at those on daylight hours chat shows and the character of Vicky pollard to tutor my factor.

I used to think the Aussie accent was pretty cool. Usually I dealt with only one Aussie at a time. Recent experience has shown me that when Aussies get together in a group, the sound of all of them talking at once is rather nauseating to this untrained American ear. Nice people, weird accent!

American

The Urdu language pronounces w like a w or a v, since there is only one letter in the Urdu alphabet for this sound.

I'm with Karce! Indians speaking English cracks me up, no offense my political uncle is indian.

HAHA. I hate american accents (when speaking other laguages). For example: Americans speaking spanish 'José = Hoe-zay', or americans speaking german 'Arschloch = Archlock'. It is so funny but is does make me cringe. No offense to americans though I probably have the worst latin accent when speaking german, I know for a fact it isn't that bad when I speak english though.

I don't want to be offensive to anyone but when I hear an English accent from someone from India I cringe.
