My friend was correcting me on my email when she asked me how much my gym membership costs me. I told her "It costed me $400 when I first joined last year," and she said there's no such word as costed. Is this true? And if so, how should I have worded my sentence?

She found out about The Nightmare Before Christmas 3D about a week ago. Since then she's been talking non-stop about it... she's very excited. I told her we should wait for it on DVD but she really wanted to see it in the theater. This morning she bought 4 tickets, for me and her and her parents.

I never told her that 3D movies give me extremely bad headaches that last about a week, it's a bit of obscure information that never really came up. I've seen two 3D movies before; the first, The Muppets something or other. It was a 10 minute short that pretty much existed simply to showcase the technology. After viewing it I had a killer headache for a week. Then it was time for Terminator 3D, another 10 minute short. Chalking up my first headache to chance, I gave it another shot, but it wasn't chance, I had another headache. So now she expects me to go see this movie, and it's about 10 times as long as the other 3D movies that effected me so badly.

What's the best way to decline?

I was walking around at the mall yesterday and this gorgeous woman (prolly in her early 40's or late 30's) wearing short shorts passed by me... I turned my head to catch a glimps of her nice shapley legs from behind... When I turned back I noticed this girl give me an ugly look like "EWWWW... You were checkin out THAT?!".. I'm not phisically attracted to girls my age... unless they have big muscular calves and thighs. Girls my age are immature, annoying and like to play games and other stupid crap... Older women are mature and know what they want and dont play around.. I don't know any other dudes my age who think older women are hot.. Is this wrong/weird..? Shoould I feel embarrassed..? I would like to make a small recipe containing real butter and also Crown Royale. Has anyone done this? Of course I realize that bringing the whiskey to a boil kills some of it, but I'm thinking that the real flavor would still be there and would also be a preservative for the butter (in the canning process.)

I was suppose to have my period on sun day, i am on meds to make sure it come on time, and it has worked great. i was cramping about two days but it stopped. i took a test last night and it said neg but, on the wed i only have a 24 day cycle. so was it to early to take test or im i just not pergnant.

I'm going to redrywall some rooms in my house that all have outside walls, so I figured that while I'm in there, I might as well replace the insulation.. now, I have a few questions.. what is the best insulation to use on an outside wall? Standard pink/fiberglass inulation, blown insulation.. or is there something else that's better.. also, do you always have to have a vapor barrier on an outside wall, or is that only in the bathroom and kitchen.. where there's lots of moisture? Right now, there isn't a vapor barrier, so should I put one in since I'm going to do the insulation and drywall or is it uneccessary?

So this guy from my gym and I like each other and 2 wkends ago we finally told each other how we'd been feeling. We made out and cuddled all night and then the following couple days he suggested we hang out that coming Sat... he's busy with his job (which apparently is very good); He dogged out on Saturday at the last minute over text message saying he'd call the next day. He DID call and left me a sweet mesage apologizing, saying he'd explain why he's been so busy with work when I called him back. So I called him back and he never picked up; I left a message and got no call back. He came into the gym the next day and came right up to me to talk to me. We were just making small talk about his work and he said ..."I found out I have to go out of town next week, I've been more than head under water but I'll be around more in the next couple days"...If he suposedly likes me, then why is he being so aloof? He's REALLY shy and reserved, but WTF? Am I being blown off?

I have a 6yr old yorkie..The problem is she use the bathroom in the house. I tell her ova an ova not to do it. . I will tke her out an she will come right back in an pee in the floor.She only does it at nite..But get this she will knock ova her water dish an bark an if no one comes she will go an find u an stand there an bark an then runs into the kitchen an makes racket with her dish. She will do this up intill she gets water. In the middle of the nite she will also do that. When i let her out she pretends she dosn't know her name i will say come back here an she will turn around an look at me an sometimes she takes off runing even faster. Or she will sneak off really slow till next min she's all the way to the mail box. When in the house i can barley say her name an she will come too me. When she hears my car keys she runs to the door or either run to me so i can pick her up an take her with me. She is really samrt but she just wont listen to me sometime. Please help

In order to become the best person I can be, I am always checking myself and try to stay aware of what I need to improve on. My question is do you do this? I am trying to make some sense of how I feel right now. I am a guy. I have to wear my hair in a ponytail at work. My hair's not that long, so I have to wear it more mid-head than nape. There is a guy there that sometimes tugs it when he is behind me and makes comments about it being "cute" etc. After some questions here, some people suggested he is flirting with me rather than trying to make fun, or cause a fight. I don't know for sure that is true yet.

But I have been feeling mixed emotions since someone first said this. I've. never had a real GF before, but I do like girls and not felt attracted to guys, so I figured I wasn't gay. It's not like I feel attracted to this guy either. I mean I posted this morning figuring he was looking for a fight.

But now I am confused about how I feel because even though he is a guy, I kind of feel good in a way that someone (anyone) is maybe flirting with me too.

How would you feel if someone of the same sex flirted with you. How would you react.
