Actually, Yes! We are stationed in Italy, and there are gypsies here! They come to Naples and just make their camps on the side of the highway, and then they stand at the toll booths and hold cups and ask for money in a language that neither Italians or Americans understand, and it if you don't give it to them, they get really mad.
I'm from Portland, Oregon and I know there was a family there that people said were gypsies, but they had this beautiful house,
(Which everyone claimed they got from stealing everything)and nice cars, and they were clean. That's not the case here. They literally live amongst their own trash, and their little shacks are made out of pieces of wood put together, or old camper trailers with no doors.They are also always being arrested for stealing from the stores, roadside fruit/veggies stands, and the sidewalk markets. It's kind of sad.

Haven't seen any here but they were where I used to live in Chicago. They'd come around and try to get you to let them into your house. The Bastages!

yes, irish travelers in murphys village about 20 miles from here. they set out each summer to rip people off all over american then they come back to old south cack and have babies and build more mansions.
