In order to become the best person I can be, I am always checking myself and try to stay aware of what I need to improve on. My question is do you do this? And what is it that you are trying to improve about yourself? For me personally I'm working on my patience....for some reason that's just a difficult one for me. Just curious for your answers.

I like to reflect on where I was at the same time the year before. Am I doing better financially? Am I as happy? Are things being done I said I would do? The kids doing better? Do I love my sig other more than I did last year? Etc.

I personally am always trying to improve on staying healthy through diet and excersize. I'm scared to let myself go and be one of these overweight people who let it get out of hand.

I REALLY need to work on my procrasination though. It's on my list to do that tomorrow.

You'll be disappointed in yourself!

Sounds like you are a bit of a perfectionist. I guess I used to be a perfectionist but I read somewhere a few years back that you need to learn to give "not your best", we never give our very best no matter how hard we try it's never enough so it's a good idea to do whatever you reasonably can and accept it as not your best.

Trying always to do your best or be the best you can will exhaust you or even paralyse you so that you may feel it's not worth doing anything at all in the end because it's never going to be good enough and you are never going to be good enough.

Accept yourself and your abilities and realise it's better to do "not your best" than to strive always to do only "your best" because you'll always fail to achieve it.

ME TOO! I really have to work on my patience because if I had a bad day, I become snappy. Don't like that at all about myself.

I've been told I'm very loud when I talk normally. I tried to pay attention to that but oh well I can't change that
