Well, Clint, it is like this:
Sometimes life is good.
Sometimes life is bad.
and
Sometimes life is ugly.
But if we have a Band of Brothers and we are Unforgiven we can see the world Every Which Way but Loose just like those who Escaped from Alcatraz.

Depends if you are spiritual or not. If you believe in an afterlife then your time here on earth should be spent in the service of your god or religion.
If you're an athiest or agnostic then I would hazzard a guess that the point of life is either procreation and/or just enjoying life. Of course you could always freeze yourself in the hopes they will revive you in a 500 years and by that time make you immortal - that only works if you don't believe in an afterlife though.

I agree with what Earl_D says. But, I will add a comment of my own.
The point of life -- to live and learn, to be sad and angry, happy and ecstatic with joy, to be mournful, grateful, to be achieving, an asset, a hindrance, to be confused and lost, to find yourself, to be giving and considerate, thankful, understanding, to love, to hate, etc etc etc.
I believe that every single person has a different point in life due to their own experience such as, want, needs, desires; but then on the other hand we are similar as well.

To be a true human being, to love, to adore God, to get that tricky visa for the heavenly kingdom... Sanctity!
And, when life seems pointless, even having a little patience, a day at a time, will be rewarded. Because life is not pointless, it might just seem so, from time to time.

Well, the point is to learn lessons to make you a better person. Learn right from wrong, love one another, spread joy, be helpful, Live your best life. Doing good, being good, and spreading good, makes your life happier. Goodness, kindness and love are catching. But unfortunately Life is UGLY. It is HARD, but you must persevere.

You haven’t asked a question that has a meaningful answer.
Even though the question "What is the point of life" is syntactically correct it is semantically meaningless.
That is to say that it has no more meaning than the sentence, 'Why does the number seven get hungry'. The number seven can not get hungry since hunger is an attribute that can only be ascribed to living things that have the ability to comprehend hunger.

First of all there IS not point asking about the point of life because the One Almighty wanted to "translate" Himself into all the little parts of earth we call "life" including us idiots. The Almighty choses to give life and if there is a "point" well, I would speculate that it is to know Him and to gain enough wisdom not to end up in our own makeshift afterlife which, knowing the mind of some, would translate into ending up in a world so cruel, one might call it hell.

Life neither has a point nor requires one. It is enough in itself.
What is the point of Heaven? That question makes about as much sense as yours.
