A boy standing in a ditch throws a baseball upward toward his father. The ball leaves his hand at ground level, with an initial speed of 14.0 m/s, at an angle of theta = 61.0 degrees from the horizontal. The boy's father reaches up and catches the ball over his head, at a height of 2.0 m above the ground. The father catches the ball on its way down (as shown in the Figure). Calculate how long the ball is in the air. ( g = 9.81 m/s2)

Hint: You do not have to separate the upward and downward parts of this motion. You have enough information to find the horizontal and vertical components of initial velocity. You know the vertical displacment and acceleration. Be careful with signs.

I frequently have lucid dreams and have even had a few OBEs. What I want to know is if it is possible to bring others to lucidity with you? I mean can you dream of someone and in a sense share the dream with them. For example, can I dream of my boyfriend and share the dream with him bringing him to lucidity or will it just be my own dream with him in it or not aware of it? I wanted to experiment this by trying to dream of him then tell him to tell me something the next day to know if it worked. I don't know if that would scare him out of my dream. Any tips on sharing a dream?

I was hoping to get some help. basicly i currently have a very good laptop Inspiron 9400 computer and it has a Intel Centrino Duo Processor. Now somthing i noticed about the Centrino Duo Processors is the basic stock CPU the computer comes with, it has T2300 @ 1.66GHz of physical memory, With 512 MB of Ram. Which i see as a dinosour of a computer compared for instance with a Athlon 64 FX-60 with a whopping 2.6 GHz physical memory with a 2 x 1MB Ram. Now i know on a genral basis desktops are genraly faster systmes to work with but the queston was im looking at getting a desktop but iv heard alot about AMD'd computers! Not all good but not all bad and im looking for a computer with a very good processing unit and a very graphics and sound card system, basicly im looking for a for a computing system which is very good but 'reasonably priced' so what would u all recomend as a good computer? Thankyou for your help!

Hi i recently got my hair cut and it is now juz passed my shoulders and it is kinda of a blonde/brown colour and layered with a fringe.
