I am not sure what flat iron to buy. My daughter says it needs to be set on 35 or higher. I am afraid she will end up burning her hair. I see flat irons from 129 degree C all the way through to over 200 degree C. What should I be looking for?

If The Tigers finish with the wild card, we'd face the yankees in a 5 agme series. If they finish with the division, and the yanks beat Minnesota we'd face in a 7 game series.

Which do you think would be better for The Tigers?

I'm terribly shy, and at work i always have to go in busy offices. I get terribly embarassed because there's this guy i like(he asked me out today)and i feel awkward all the time because of my shyness. People only have to say hello and i go beet red and sweat like crazy. I've definately got anxiety problems. How do i calm myself?deep breathing doesnt help me by the way. alcohol calms me down but i dont feel like drinking it first thing in the morning.

I was wondering if the age of a parent is taken into consideration when determining a child custody case ? Someone I know is in a situation, she has a child under five and the baby's father is almost 60 years old. His eyesight is going bad, he drives carelessly, takes antidepressants, has a nasty temper. But besides of that which has to be proven in Court, will his age be a factor, too ? I ask because some Grandparents I also know wanted to get custody of their grandkids but the police told them (they are in their 70's) that the court would not give them custody because they are too old. So my question is, how old is too old for a parent to be to gain custody?

My husband works full time (night shift) and after taxes, makes enough to pay my mom for watching our two kids during the week, with maybe $100 left over for "incidentals." The only drawback is that we get a discount on our auto insurance through his employer. What do you guys think of him refusing to be a SAHD? My solution was for him to work weekends--basically enough to keep our auto ins discount, put a few bucks in his pocket, and have some "adult" time with friends/coworkers. He is adamantly refusing. He's working to pay daycare, basically. Right now, we pay all bills off my salary, and other than the auto insurance discount (which would continue if he worked weekends) there is no drawback that I can see to him staying home. Opinions? Advice? Reasons why he should/shouldn't stay home? I'm going to show him all answers, so please be honest (no matter what your opinion is!).
