As a 45-year old man, what's up? If a girl this age asks me if I have a girlfriend or am I married.

Am I to assume that her intentions are shallow? Is she after my $$$.

If I were the one to approach her, what does the public assume about MY motivations?

As a 43 year old man that had to go through this with a 24 yr old woman I can honestly now say that some women in their early to mid 20's are just more attracted to the stability and maturity of older guys. My advice is to be totally up front and honest with her. If you just want sex tell her so. If you want to try and have a relationship let her know it probably wont work but you are willing to try. Two consenting adults not breaking any laws should not worry about what some people ideas of right anf wrong is. Be honest and remember that you have to wake up in the morning with yourself no matter what.

As a 23 year old guy with no money who can't really relate to you I say go for it. Hey, Tom Cruise does it. If she is after your money then use that ***** and then tell her you're married.
Hmmmm... somehow I sound more evil then usual..., I'm just tired...

don't assume that she is after your money unless she gives you reason to believe that. age difference is no problem if you both really like each other. as far as the public goes, the only one you should be worried about is her father.

She is not a teenager but a full grown woman. She may have good intentions, so stop judging her before the fact.

It could be possible that the girl wants to know you more better. Just keep her as a friend and let her come up with things. It could also be possible she like you & wants to settle with you... Let time do the rest....
