I personally wasn't offended by this at all, I thought it was pretty funny actually. But a lot of people believe that this is simply uncalled for. I guess they assume that our troops can't blow off any steam whatsoever. Please tell me what you think. If it's offensive to you then please tell me why.

My spouse and I are considering divorce. I have a 5 year old child who lives with us, but she is not my spouses. She goes to school in the area and the closest place I could go would be an hour and half away to my parents. If we are not divorced yet or we are not legally separated do I have to leave home? If I do how long do I have to find another place to live?

Should I cover the hickey up with a turtle neck type shirt or with some make-up? Would the person conducting the interview judge me based on a single hickey and choose not to hire me? The hickey is starting to fade away bit it's still obvious, what should I do?

I feel like I don't have the right to do anything or be anything or achieve anything or be happy or experience pleasure or enjoy life. And its all because of the religious teachings that I was exposed to in Catholicism. I gave it up but I still feel guilty just for existing. I am not a murderer or rapist or anything horrible. It's just been drilled into me, all this unearned guilt from religion and I can't shake it off. I'm always holding myself back from doing things and sabotaging my own success, I started doing bad in school so I woouldn't be "sinful" and I intentionally didn't try hard in track and field because I don't feel like I have the right to exist since I'm supposedly so "sinful" and I'm suppposed to deny myself or else I'll go to hell. I'm not doing this in order to explain away inadequacies either. How do I get over these thoughts? Life is terrible and I see no point in going on existing if its going to be a joyless existence.

I saw this passage in the Bible that put a controvercy in my mind towards gay priests, lesbians and homosexuals. the passage is in Romans 1

24Therefore God gave them over in the sinful desires of their hearts to sexual impurity for the degrading of their bodies with one another. 25They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

26Because of this, God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. 27In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion.

28Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done. 29They have become filled with every kind of wickedness, evil, greed and depravity. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit and malice. They are gossips, 30slanderers, God-haters, insolent, arrogant and boastful; they invent ways of doing evil; they disobey their parents; 31they are senseless, faithless, heartless, ruthless. 32Although they know God's righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them.

I'm sorry if I seem like I'm dumping on the opposite sex, but I just got home from one of the worst dates of my life.

Every girl I've ever dated I treated like a princess. I gave of my things, my time, and myself. I placed them on pedestals because that's where I felt they deserved to be. Without fail, they have all left me for men that treated them badly. They have all hurt me deeply. It has wreaked havoc on my self-esteem. Part of me wants to be an ***, so I can get those women, but I don't because I know it is wrong.
