Remember when the gas prices were going up like a rocket and everyone was yelling that it was President Bush that caused the prices? Now that they are coming down where is all the thank yous and praise for his efforts? Oh, right, he only has the power to raise prices, not lower them.

Ben, I was being sarcastic. People were saying he had control when he doesn't. Next he will be blamed for Pluto being taken off the planet list because he washed it and it shrank.

Well according to some people he not only controls everything he makes only bad things happen. Let me see they blamed him for Katrina and Rita. The tsunami was his fault too. Gas prices went up that was his fault. Gas prices come down that is his fault too, that will only be until after the elections in November and then he will raise them again. Yes yes he is in total control of all things and everything he does is evil. I am glad to see that I am not the only one who sees the Bush bashing going on all the time.

The president of the United States has neither legislative nor fiscal power. That would be congress, silly! In that case, how can he possibly influence gas prices?
