I personally wasn't offended by this at all, I thought it was pretty funny actually. But a lot of people believe that this is simply uncalled for. I guess they assume that our troops can't blow off any steam whatsoever. Please tell me what you think. If it's offensive to you then please tell me why.

You know, when this first hit the internet, the poor guy who did the song, CPL Belile, was investigated to see if they could bring charges against him. Fortunately, they didn't. Sanity prevailed, instead of political correctness.
CAIR, the Islamic apologists for the US, excoriated Belile to anyone who would listen. There was a lot of pressure put on the Marines to do something to this guy.
But, like you said, they were just letting off a little steam. Personally, I think it was a riot! Had I still been in the service, I would've loved to have the guy perform!

I think our troops can goof off in any manner they see fit, to get a laugh and just feel like a human again. Laughter is good for the soul!
