How can I customize the output file size when rar-ing a file. It has set sizes (700mb, 600mb, 4gb....). How can I change that? What program can I use?

Can a doctor or his staff , i.e. physicians assistant, call a methadone clinic and give them information without the patient signing a release? The methadone clinic WILL NOT give them any information even that a person is going there because of the patient confidentiality act. I know you have to sign releases for other records and I wonder if this would have a different law?

I always feel guilty about any decision I make that doesn't satisfy them. I always cringe or put off telling them the truth if I know they will disagree with my decision. I try to please them if I can....and then I beat myself up inside because I didn't do what I wanted to do. In fact, this minute, I am in the process of a divorce. My ex of 23 yrs. was controlling and verbally/emotionally abusive and neglectful. They know this, but still applaud me staying with him because of the 3 kids.(20,18, and 12) My mom always makes little inuendos or remarks that are subtle but the point gets across. I love my family and am very attached to them but I can't seem to detach from needing their approval. I hate it. Other women can make their own decisions and if their parents don't like it....so what. How can I get that attitude without feeling like I have betrayed my parents.? My father was an alcoholic and I was sexually abused by him...obviously my mom was a co-dependent Help!

Ok, let me break it down a little. I am a 15 year old man. I sing, I act, I am about to start ballroom dancing which may lead to more dancing. My question is, do I need a body for people to truely enjoy watching me? I am not horribly fat or skinny. But, if I need to work out to make it and to entertain people, then I will. As a last word, my dream is not to be an entertainer, I am gonna be a psychiatrist.

Ok. Let’s just say that for 8 years he did do nothing to stop terrorists. Like you guys say he just sat there. All right if there is a REMOTE chance of this being true. Let’s say it is true for the sake of the argument. Then how come when you guys elected your “Brave, War” president Bush, he didn’t spring into action to correct what Bill did wrong and keep us safe? It is well know that Bill Clinton warned Bush of Osama and Al Quaida. And he left office leaving Dick Clarke (a capable anti- terrorist expert with this knowledge) to help Bush. But Bush demoted Dick Clarke and went on vacation 42% of the time during the 8 months leading up to the attacks. And ignored CIA warnings of Al Quaida cells and reports of Osama wanting to attack within the U.S. Why? Please explain?

i have seen one homeschooling extremity.....the child had never left his mother's side even to go potty & he was 8!!!!!

yet i have seen many excellent examples of TEENS loving it, and younger kids too....have seen 16 year olds graduating high school homeschool and achieving their associates degree by the age of 18.
some very responsible young adults come from homeschooling.

yet, in most cases their is no government control on homeschools...if their is something "mentally challenged" about the parnets, they can still homeschool their children....

Reworking an old classic question (apologies!). As the troubles in Ulster have simmered down, I was wondering if Northern Ireland would simply settle into devolved government within the U.K. or whether it's just the first step towards reunification with the Republic. Particularly keen to hear Northern Irish opinion on this if you're reading this, but other Brits and Irish (& others!) please feel free to add your twopenny worth.

As someone that has both British & Irish parentage, I guess I feel pretty ambivalent towards the issue. Whatever makes the region happiest, stable and peaceful is the most important thing. Though, I don't know whether independence would work completely as N.I. would likely become an even smaller European country like Andorra or Moldova in economic and political terms. What do you reckon?

[P.S. Remember the last time Northern Ireland played England as well as Spain in a competitive football international?...]

In the search for alternative forms of energy, tapping the fringes of the Earth's core for heat would appear to be within the realm of possibility. Using heat from that source we could eliminate the need for home heating oil. How far down would you have to drill to get to about 100 degrees F soil/rock temperature or more?
