After about half an hour the chicken would be dead from cold. It's better to keep a chicken in a hen house.

Well.. the meat dept. people tell me(several times) that one should not keep chicken in a freezer more than 6 months. but I know I have had chicken in a freezer for over a year and did not notice any difference in flavor.. Thus.. I cannot really answer that question.. I do, however, try to not keep any meat more than a year in the freezer.

It depends how many stars your freezer is rated at, they should be printed on the inside of the door. A three star will keep a chicken for about 3 months, I think.
Try the manufacturers website or a google.

The wrappers on stuff say a month, but i recon as long as it doesn't smell when you get it out you'll be fine. I've eaten chicken thats been in the freezer for probably a year, n i didn't get ill!!

Depends on how large and mean the chicken and whether or not the freezer is locked.

About a month if you keep it in the blister package from the store. If it is vacuum sealed it should be able to go a year if the temperature does not fluctuate too much and remains frozen. Never re-freeze any meat product that has been frozen and thawed. Use it or throw it out.
